The Miami Design District (or simply Design District) is found within the Midtown area of the city not far from the community of Little Haiti. As its name may suggest, you'll find an abundance of gallery spaces and low-rise warehouses that now function as retail stores, restaurants and art galleries. Nowadays the Design District is respected for its fusion of fashion, art and eclectic design. Make sure to attend the Art Galleries and Design Showrooms event that takes place every second Saturday of the month. You'll enjoy refreshments, music as well as getting to meet a diverse array of people.
